PINE RESIDENCE
A terraced four level residential house located in Jurmala not far from the Gulf of Riga. The facade panels from the dark wood in combination with the simple concrete merge with surrounded pine trees. This building is very carefully integrated in the natural context and almost disappears in it.

The galleries under the covered terrasses are located along the perimeter of the building on all levels and have access to all the rooms within apartments. This allows freely to move around the apartment and terrace, and when weather allows, easily open the doors and be in the fresh air among the pine trees. There are three LUX category apartments located on each level of the building, and two more apartments on the roof-top. Each apartment has access to the individual terrasse with the stunning view to the pine forest.

The complex has an elevator and underground parking. The facades of the building are lined with dark wooden texture and concrete texture panels. These materials were selected with great attention - the way that the full building volume seamlessly blended with the surrounding pine forest. The complex merges within the trees and becomes barely recognizable from the street.

The light wood blinds located along the facades around the perimeter of the complex compliment the full picture and convey the feeling of the traditional wooden holiday cottages that was typical for this region for a long time.
